Apply for the MLA’s 2015–16 Connected Academics proseminar in New York City!
Proseminar participants will
• Learn about career horizons for PhDs and the versatility of advanced study in the humanities
• Develop skills and gain experiences that will be valuable in pursuing any career
• Get a behind-the-scenes look at not-for-profits and cultural institutions that employ PhDs
• Contribute to the national conversation about careers for humanities PhDs
Participants will each receive a $2,000 stipend to support participation. They must be able to attend monthly meetings in New York City during the 2015–16 academic year.
